Thanks for your review. At PCL, we use a total rewards compensation strategy consisting of base salary, discretionary performance bonuses, flexible benefits packages, employee share ownership opportunities, and more to ensure we compensate our employees fairly and reward them for going above and beyond. We encourage you to reach out to your district HRPD representative to address these concerns in more detail.

Pros

I enjoyed working with a number of the people at PCL, and continue to keep in touch with many of them. The health insurance is one of the best in the country. We did some amazing projects. They are great builders.

Cons

My pay was way below market value, I went somewhere else and am making 35% more than I was there. I put up with it because I was sold that there was so much opportunity, but it never came to fruition for me. When I decided I was going to leave they tried to talk about what they could do for me at that point to keep me, but I had already committed elsewhere, and I didn't feel that was the time to try to make employees happy. We also were always short staffed, and managing much more than we should have with the staff.
