      Pros

      I have spent nearly 30 years with PCL and during my tenure PCL has offered me opportunities that challenged me and provided for my own growth. They have never been shy in providing me with the tools required to accomplish this.

      Cons

      As a larger company, processes, systems, rules and regulations are placed on the staff to develop some consistency and to manage change.

      Pros

      I'm amazed how such a big company can still manage to create a family feel environment for their employees.

      Cons

      The work-life balance is not necessarily ideal but is pretty much the common trend in the construction industry. It certainly helps that colleagues are enjoyable to work with because I spend most of my time with them.

      Caring company that gets to know their employees and try to help them learn more about the crafts and help you better yourself.

      Cons

      No drink or vending machine at job sites so you would have to make sure you brought your lunch
