      Pros

      Flexible hours, great pay, nice coworkers, ability to travel.

      Cons

      Long hours, much of the engineering work is outsourced, the technology used to build the product is very heavy handed for the result.

      Pros

      Good benefits, strong focus on user experience. If you have a good supervisor, you have the ability to learn a great deal about the industry and can participate in focus groups. If you don't like something that is occurring within the company, just wait a few months, odds are that it will change.

      Cons

      Management doesn't care how their decisions affect the employees. Their word is gold and there will be no flexibility until they decide to make the next big change. Change happens constantly and most of this change is not well thought out. The system is shaky at best and has many bugs. There are many errors when employees are working on the back end and it is not factored into your production time.

      Pros

      Paypal has a system that provides good knowledge transfer through training and tech talks. Sabbatical is earned after several years service.

      Cons

      There is an extremely high turnover rate in the company. Make sure you know this before you accept a position. The codebase is atrocious, though there are efforts to modernize and improve it.
