Pros

The company is good company, owned by Pepsico, the pay for this area is ok and the benifits are good with share power and 401k. Good job, if you are single.

Cons

Since I have worked there, which has only been a few years, I have seen many people become single, including myself, because of the demanding work schedule. You can never plan on being off on the weekends, the schedule changes daily, so you can't plan anything with your family for the weekends or your day(s) off, especially if it is a holiday. Then there are days that you get forced over to work overtime because the next shift is short people and it don't matter if you have an appointment outside of your normal working hours, or have to take care of your family, you have to work it or get written up. And too many write ups, you get fired!! They have an open door policy that does not work for me and I don't feel comfortable talking to upper management or HR because you can only hear, " I will check into that" or " I will get back to you on that matter" and never get a response on issues so many times.. They hire new supervisors right out of college and most of them are out to make a name for themselves and seem to get brained washed into the fritolay way. When things are not going good for them, they will belittle you in front of other team members, which is wrong. They want us to feel like owners but how can you feel like an owner when they threaten your job and if I was an owner I would not work my employees half to death. I know of people that work there that are afraid to report an injury or pain and strain because, they will make you feel bad when you have to go to the accident invesigation that they have. And new employees, alot of the ones I know, are getting ready to find another job because they have a family to support and they don't get many hours because they are on the bottom of seniority and get forced home alot. And some of the employees, that have worked for them for many years, are looking for another job, they are tired of the BS thats been going on and have said, it used to be a fun and good place to work..

Pros

The salary is at or above the industry standard, you develop a close bond with other RSR's, benefits are excellent, and relocation possibilities are limitless.

Cons

If you are married or have kids, you better tattoo their faces on every crevice of your body because you will NEVER see them. Expect work weeks from 50-75 hours a week. Having your days off split up means you never feel fully rested to restart your day on the job. You will work EVERY holiday. They tell you not to work Christmas but all you are really doing is doubling your workload on another day. They make you work a day for free. You have to sign a wavier specifying that you will not help during your "Route Ride" but if you don't then you will not get hired. Someone will eventually get hurt one day and sue. Everything is about numbers and you basically compete with yourself. Horrible treatment of employees, horrible company.
