Concern for shareholders and bottom line profits has caused a great many good quality employees to leave. Upper management has no clue how to keep employees happy

Pros

Philips provides a good salary and benefits which are active the same day you join. No 3 month waiting period. They also have a work from home policy for emergencies. They are good at accommodating work-life balance for people with children.

Cons

If you don't have children, you won't be considered for the same accommodation. Everyone fends for themselves and there is little in the ways of team atmosphere. Office politics are harsh at any employer, but here, they can make or break your daily experience. They claim to have a rewards program, but points are rarely if ever provided. There are also no opportunities for moving up. Only lateral movement within the company is available.

Good people in the field ranks and marketing teams. Great benefits Great team environment with field employees

Cons

Will change strategy over night Promotions are limited to those "in the club" Very weak middle and upper management Like the "yes" mentality, leaders are weak and don't like to be challenged Lots of middle management overhead not needed and fighting to protect their job, not their employees Many manufacturing shut downs across multiple product lines have hurt business.
