      Pros

      Most of the individual contributors that I worked with were great people. There are a few that are awful. There are some good managers but not many. Great introduction into medical standards so you can go work elsewhere later.

      Cons

      Bullying, lack of accountability in leadership, zero interest in learning from past mistakes, just does whatever the competition does so they can be 5 years behind the competition. Sad place to work.

      Cons

      I work for the lifeline part of Philips. Since finding out about Philips selling that part. Has gone downhill. At first management was excellent, but the last 4 months as been horrible. Management doesn’t seem to care about us, over work. Only time we here from management is to let us know our numbers are not good! Management will ask how you feel, but will ignore once you let them know. Plays favorites big time.

      Frequent management changes and a shift in jobs to cheaper regions

      Pros

      The people I worked with were the best thing about the job. It's also great to work on medical devices and software that have the ability to positively impact people's lives.

      Cons

      In a 6 month time frame, I had 4 different managers. In the 3 years I spent there, only about 6 months was spent on products that shipped to customers, the other products were killed after significant investment. Many jobs in my business unit shifted to Brazil because that's where the director came from.
