Pros

Generous starting bonus, great benefits, good training and mentorship, beautiful offices

Cons

Everyone starts knocking doors as a CDR, an average of 80 doors a day, often in no soliciting neighborhoods, need to set 6 estimates in a two week period which means you need about 18 appointments where homeowners can cancel for any reason, need to make it make sense to do business same day, high resistance homeowners can be rude or threatening, some CDR’s cheat and use apps like Rently to see who’s a homeowner or not.

I strongly disliked my experience in the brand department

Pros

- They paid on time

Cons

- It felt to me like there was little trust between the team and leadership. I sometimes sensed that leadership viewed roles as easily replaceable, which made the environment feel distracting and stressful for me. My contributions often didn’t feel valued, even when they met the expectations I was given. I also felt that expectations weren’t always consistent, and I noticed them shift without clear explanation. - In my experience, direction and feedback often felt vague, while smaller details received a lot of focus. For me, this created unnecessary stress and slowed down my work. - In my view, brand leadership didn’t seem to consistently prioritize the brand’s stated values, especially around supporting the happiness and well-being of employees. - In my observation, rules within the department seemed to be applied differently depending on the person or situation, particularly around WFH guidelines. - Overall, I don’t feel the experience enriched me professionally or personally. Looking back, the role wasn’t a good fit for me, and I regret taking it.
