Pros

- Remote/hybrid friendly - Flexible time off (not tracked or earned). People tend to take about 3-5 weeks off a year in total. - Great culture

Cons

- Not super high-paying - Raises based on cost of labor as opposed to inflation - Higher-ups tend to get more raises - Higher-ups love buzzwords - On-call for some positions can be a little hectic

Pros

It was a little crazy when we first started. It’s fun working on the business side of things. Leave is accrued at 6.2 hours per pay period. Health insurance is good. The pay is decent, but it could be way better.

Cons

Too many moving parts ; too many different departments handling different things. You become a jack of all trades and a master of little. I’d prefer more leave and a more organized structure. They are working on making changes though.

Pros

+ Fosters a collaborative work environment where teamwork is encouraged. Lots of opportunities to grow, learn, and cultivate knowledge from various disciplines. The company is a huge proponent of innovation i.e., Cloud computing and continuous learning. + The company recognizes the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. PFG provides its employees with a supportive and flexible work environment. Back when I was still employed, there were no PTO limits, as long as you kept good performance and did your work.

Cons

+ PFG lacks competitive compensation as far as salaries go, especially after performance reviews. But, what the company lacks in salaries, they make up with their employee benefits. + High workload and tight deadlines. Most, if not, all of the work is dictated by business. Depending on the team, there may be a lot of meetings.
