      Good company, just in a bad situation

      Pros

      Lots of paid days off and other perks. Moving to posh downtown office in 2017. My current manager tries to help with career development.

      Cons

      Would make at least 10% more doing same thing, or less, for another company. They guilt/scare/pressure me into staying here, when I bring up doing something else. Management is only good in certain groups. This is a highly political office environment, where popularity, rather than knowledge or merit, garners promotions.

      Went from world class to just another cutthroat employer

      Pros

      Good resume builder, intelligent management, global scale and perspective. If not for the merger and focus on G&A (due to an inability to grow the platform), this would still be a world class place to work.

      Cons

      Politics run the show from the very top to the very bottom. Even the upper tiers of management seem to be constantly trying to one up each other, throw subordinates under the bus, and undercut superiors... and this behavior filters down. Everyone is afraid for their jobs due to the comically named "Project Alignment" (read:rolling layoffs), so the entire corporate atmosphere is defensive, territorial, and stifling. It's a good place if you just keep your head down and accept the status quo, but if you're looking to advance your career, it will be a short term stop.

      Toxic, Racisit, Sexist Culture, Micro Managing and lack of direction from Top Down

      Pros

      Great Pay, Great Benefits, Work remotely or in the office.

      Cons

      Analysis by paralysis from management, lots of internal politics, and lots of internal fighting between upper management to see who's the smartest in the room. Lacks diversity within the organization and a very open racist culture, HR is useless when it comes to addressing real internal issues.
