Pros

Team environment: People are generally very helpful and will share knowledge/tips. Most people are very easy to work with/get along with. Learning: Due to the structure of work, individuals will progress very quickly in knowledge gained and on the job responsibilities. This will strengthen one's resume if/when they decide to move on.

Cons

Can be political at times. Lack of work/life balance: As much as this is promoted, it does not exist. Management wants all staff to think/behave in the same way (however, claims are made to the contrary).

Pros

Good experience. Lots of opportunity. You work at lots of companies and do a lot of different things. If you are interested in travel there are lots of opportunities. The people are in general very intelligent and hardworking. You build up a great network that will help you the rest of your career.

Cons

Stressful and heavy with politics. What you want to do in your career and what the partnership wants you to do might not necessarily be the same thing. Staffing is rough. You are held responsible for your utilization but you don't always have control over your staffing. You need to be flexible. The work is sometimes boring and unrewarding. I always felt a little under-paid in terms of how hard I worked vs. the salary I received.

Pros

The benefits are great - maternity leave, personal leave, work-life balance (depending on the group, as the company is huge); retirement plans; options to move within the company into other groups if not satisfied where you are so many opportunities available.

Cons

It is a large company so there are many admin tasks that take time which is something to get used to (i.e. maternity leave, name change, etc.) and the company isn't as organized as they could be about helping its employees complete these tasks in an efficient manner. Additionally, that means some managers are great and others in other groups are not. It's something you have to discover on your own when you interview.
