Pros

PwC really knows how to treat its employees. It has become fairly common for management to reward us with a firmwide day off, or a random "thank you" present. For an organization this big, those kinds of practices are rarely heard of. Holiday party in Philly rules.

Cons

Long hours are expected and those expectations are passed to the employees. Not really the Firm's fault, but the audit industry has become regulated and in turn, the Firm has implemented too many check the box procedures to comply. Takes away from time that could be spent on client service.

Pros

There are lots of great people and very good opportunities to work on large public clients. PwC also provides a number of opportunities to work in all parts of the world. I believe that the resources that PwC provides you are are excellent and greatly assist in your development.

Cons

The hours are long for everyone from January through March and can vary greatly beyond that time frame. Also, travel can be a really bad part of this job for some people. Sometimes, you can be assigned to smaller clients and feel like you are alone on an island.
