      Dynamic industry, tough for QAD to keep up

      Pros

      Global reach of company allows exposure to various geographies, cultures, and business issues. The employees are generally very sharp and sharing peer knowledge is great learning experience.

      Cons

      It is not a very empowering place for employees. Most work is based on whims of top management. Also, no pursuit of acquiring new customers... focus is on draining existing customers.

      Pros

      QAD has flexible hours and locations and work style. The management tries to communicate the corporate plans and goals several times throughout the year. QAD offers fair compensation with an innovative, but conservitive, leadership team. Every week we get excellent communication from the CEO. The main headquarters is a new beautiful building with a gym, free lunch, rec room. The technology provided is excellent and geared toward your success.

      Cons

      Stock price is flat, we are not seen by the "market" as successful, but we have very loyal customers. Sometimes different departments are not in sync. with the corporate plan.

      Pros

      Small-ish company and dynamic environment. Great installed base of customers who are generally satisfied with QAD.

      Cons

      Job uncertainty, budget cuts so reduced training and opportunities, heavy workload on employees who are sometimes pushed to the limit without consideratio for their personal life
