Pros

The company is pretty good in terms of compensation & benefits (breakfast and a catered lunch in the office, snacks around the clock, vacation bonus are some highlights) on the Kraków market. Inclusivity is also a plus if that matters to you. There are a lot of events as well. The office is in a nice location and well furnished.

Cons

Promotion cycles got reduced to once a year. Sentiment around senior leadership is in the gutter. The company has focused on cutting costs in recent times to increase profit for shareholders (got bought by SilverLake). It's hard to get buy-in for new features, forget about getting more employees in an older team. The company employees a hybrid model (3 days in the office per week are required, Monday/Tuesday/one other). If you work in engineering, there is a mandatory OnCall rotation to join (24h).

Qualtrics Response

We appreciate the insights shared about career development at Qualtrics and we’re glad to hear you enjoy the benefits and culture. I think our benefits are some of the best - glad you are enjoying them too! 2024 has been a year of transformation for Qualtrics, and the team has really stepped up to navigate it. We want to speak to your point about career development. Our promotion program has shifted, with roles (and their respective levels) being created based on business need rather than just individual readiness, which is part of why we’re now doing promotions annually. We have a ton of talented people who work at Qualtrics and our new position on promotions works to find a balance between a healthy, correctly built organization & the need/desire of the team to advance. Where promotion isn’t an option, internal mobility and support for career growth through career action plans are key elements to where Qualtricians can find development within the organization.
