Pros

If you are in one of the offshore team there is great employment opportunities coming your way.

Cons

RSA used to be an incredible place to work. As employees we were treated as collaborative partners in the growth of RSA. We had the respect and freedom to be innovative and creative in our roles. Since the purchase of RSA by STG the business has changed significantly. Employees are no longer valued for their loyalty and experience, RSA has gone the way of many corporations in an effort to reduce cost and will moving a significant portions of their jobs oversees. This will inevitably provide significant disruption to the Customer experience.

Pros

Good pay and great benefits courtesy of EMC. Great co-workers, we have a good time.

Cons

Upper management keeps putting lipstick on the RSA pig. They laid off great people due to cost cutting, and then promptly wasted money on a lightly-attended outing and frivolous office amenities. Meanwhile, more great people are leaving on their own. Why do you think there are tons of open positions here? Because people are unhappy!!! The company keeps missing their numbers and we have VP's that are clueless on how to turn things around.

Pros

Great technical team who spared their off time to provide you insight on how to develop and grow your skills, however was surely put to a halt as many people started to leave.

Cons

Where do I even begin… Post acquisition, things went down hill as the best of the best were either laid off, moved onto different, better companies, or simply did not want to be a part of the horrendous changes that were taking place. The split into 4 individual business units really impedes that opportunity for growth meaning there is no role made available for the jack of all trades anymore. There is VERY limited resources when it pertains to getting around to learning the stuff inside. It went from having the resources and people available to reach out to, to no time at all to promote technical learning opportunities. Your calendar is filled up to the brim with unnecessary calls with no value behind them. Management does a terrible job empathizing with the employee. They assume that you already have an idea of what the expectations are for your role within the company. Your well-being is not considered until it’s too late. Leadership has no clarity of what direction the company is heading towards. Clearly facing a crisis. Other employees will have you feeling discouraged in performing your job role rather than being constructive. If you like being overworked, not learning anything to perform your job, or not being lead to succeed, this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you enjoy learning, being empowered, or leading talent, then go to the competitors whose technologies will soon wipe up RSA in the next tidal wave of advancements.
