Amazing, professional co-workers. Good benefits

Cons

Expected to work 24/7 with pay low pay. Senior Management is out of touch with employees and does not seem to have direction. Communication does not exist

Pros

Great salary! Great sign-on bonus/CPA reimbursement. Great experience (depending on the clients you are with) for a resume with a 2nd tier accounting firm.

Cons

If you want to work at F500, you should go with Grant Thornton or big 4 firms. Potential cons (depending on individual) :Long work hours, during busy season you work Saturdays Employees work from 10 - 16 hour days depending on job title or client. Office politics and plenty of office gossip and issues/conflict between employees as with any of the other public accounting firms.

Pros

-variety of training courses available for CPE and career growth -staff level employees are approachable, well charactered and are hard working--in other words you have a good team to work with ... -it is a national firm, opportunity to move around locations and there is also a opportunities to move from different departments

Cons

-very high employee turnover which includes both voluntarily leaving because of being unhappy with the work environment and involuntary leaving which is sometimes quite out of the blue -employee morale seems to have been negatively affected by the large amount of lay offs that occurred in 2009 and continued into 2010 -compensation is not up to par considering how the firm ranks nationally against its competitors
