Pros

Great work/life balance for me due to my specific management team. Great knowledge sharing; I learned a lot to advance my career elsewhere. Amazing amount of PTO (time off) after several years with firm.

Cons

Occasional long hours, as to be expected of any firm, under average pay for my position.

Pros

A lot of nice and smart people work there. Great place to gain experience as exposure to all aspects of audit and direct contact with management almost from the first day.

Cons

No work-life balance. Great amount of overtime and everybody thinks that's the way it should be. Budgets are set too low and goals are set too high - it is impossible to achieve both at the same time and at the end of the day the evaluation rating will suffer.

Pros

Great learning experience and good tools to learn with. People are willing to help you develop and people take pride in the firm at the upper levels.

Cons

Compensation and benefits are terrible in comparison to Big 4 and smaller firms. Depending on the location and team the hours can be just as much as Big 4.
