Pros

-Began with good pay -New office, always clean -Began wfh on Friday’s recently

Cons

The digital team is the most internally mis-managed team in the company. Leadership will do everything in their power to add more work to the reps and specialists and at the same time find ways to pay less for the work involved. Politics on this team are rife with favoritism bordering on a cult of personality around 2 individuals. There are no possibilities of growing because they don’t want any competition, they will instead overload you with tasks and projects with the prospect of a promotion hanging over your head but it will always be out of reach. There doesn’t seem to be any strategic direction, and no long term vision for what the team looks like. You will be micromanaged in the most passive aggressive way possible, and you will be gaslit more than any workplace out there.

Not a secure place to work

Pros

There are some really good people at RXO and the transportation and logistics industry is interesting.

Cons

Seems like every other week, there's a layoff. So all those good people you worked with are gone. I got tired of the instability and left for somewhere more stable.

Pros

The only pros to working for this company are actively being removed if they have not already been removed. Remote working which was guaranteed to existing employees is actively being reduced or removed entirely, and even a hybrid working environment is actively denied to new-hire employees. Employee contractual agreements are no longer honored, and I would advise any new employees to take any contractual obligations from the company as an outright lie.

Cons

The entire company is now a Con since the divestment from XPO Logistics, but management as a whole from the highest level down to the lowest is the ultimate Con here. Management will lie to your face and then wait for HR to handle communication of their complaints against you at a later and will take no responsibility for their own actions. They will approve medical leave if necessary only to turn around and fire you for taking it after the fact. They will actively lay off contract hire employees prior to maternity leave, and they will redistribute any workloads of the staff that they offload to those who remain with absolutely no increase of pay or title even when the jobs that they are now performing were previously the responsibility of more senior level positions. Your opinions will not only not be taken into consideration by management during employee surveys, but you will instead be berated for saying anything less than outstanding reviews. Working for this company will be the metaphorical equivalent of having to thank someone for slapping you in the face.
