Rackspace Technology reviews

From my perspective there is no substance behind the industry awards that Rackspace has received i.e. Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for etc. There is a deep morale problem on the sales floor and the turnover of staff has been significant in this department. Asides from Taylor Rhodes, I question the capability and maturity of the leadership team right across this organisation. In my opinion Rackspace requires a top down overhaul if it is to have any chance of surviving the next 5 years without being acquired.

Pay is HORRIBLE!!! The senior leadership team does not seem to care at all about the satellite offices - if you are not at the headquarters in SA, you might as well look for another job - otherwise you will be stuck. RS has lost a ton of great people due to their lack of innovation and vision over the past 2 years. RS is not standing out from the crowd as a hosting provider - they are just more expensive. The "fanatical support" no longer truly exists - the execution is poor overall. This is mostly due to a lack of accountability to the front-line rackers being managed by very poor leadership.
