Pros

If you like to be challenged in a constantly changing environment, this is a good place to be. Fast-paced with quick decision making. Advancement potential if you have international mobility. Exposure to the workings of leading consumer products company that can enhance your resume.

Cons

Very lean organization, expect to hit the road running with little or no training. Don't expect any work/life balance. Do expect to put in hours when you get home at night and weekends. This is a results-driven company so don't expect to get any sympathy for putting in the time - everyone is in the same boat. You can thrive there if you can handle this downside.

Pros

You mostly get a lot of independence on the job, unless you're working on something that is highly visible/management has huge hopes for. The people you work with on a day to day basis are really great people, and it's really fun to work on a super high speed and high challenge project

Cons

Despite the independence I mention as a pro to the company, please don't think there is actually a lot of ownership for your work. If you work on a global brand in a local market team, there are so many more political battles to fight and in the end, strategy is ultimately not actually yours. Since strategy is the larger umbrella for the whole business - if it's not your strategy (esp if you disagree on the strategy), you end up executing tactics that you don't believe in - thus, not truly owning anything. But since people always move off their businesses before they can reap the benefits/detriments of their own work, I guess there's never a real solid incentive-based reason for anyone to be very strategic. The consumer insights and concept writing is very very very poor. Very
