      People and Culture were AMAZING until new management came in!

      Pros

      You'll get to meet some of the coolest and smartest people in Denver. The developers all brought their best unique qualities to the team and the other teams were great at teamwork/collaboration.

      Cons

      After new management came in near the end of 2019, there was a lot of work being forced onto teams, ALOT of layoffs and people also leaving due to the demanding work ethic. The people you work besides in the Denver office are great, it's mainly the upper management team that needs to review their priorities. They value money more than people. Hopefully they have improved!

      Ria is one of the fastest growing remittance players in the industry with operations all over the world. Offers great opportunities in a fast moving environment.

      Cons

      Every company will have some challenges and it is easy to fall behind in certain areas after many years with rapid growth and expansion. This is also an opportunity to scale up further and going to the next level.

      Location of the office is central.

      Cons

      Projects are manged in silos with little to no communication to the larger team regarding status, timelines, priorities or resources leading the efforts. Subject matter experts are not being utilized to advance the product going to market. Product management makes a decision and that is executed without conversation. Timelines for project completion are arbitrary; rushing to get things live has led to many production bugs that then take a significant of time to fix which directly impacts the consumer. Opportunities to be successful in your role can be extremely challenging under the current product management style. This significantly limits the opportunity for growth at Ria Digital.
