Pros

High pay and little responsibility. Get off early for Crossfit whenever and you can hide from everyone and just delicate any of your responsibilities to someone else.

Cons

The Technicians mostly don't work and just make excuses to just do body fitment, so you never hit your SLAs.

Pros

Best job I've honestly ever had, but specific to my role. I loved all of my coworkers, loved the work I did & what I was able to contribute to the company & my peers. Good benefits, stock program, etc. I had an amazing work/life balance & loved every aspect of my job until they went public, then everything changed in a matter of a couple months.

Cons

Unreasonable & unpredictable layoffs of some of their absolute best & most valuable employees, apparently due to over-hiring practices. Don't mistakenly think that you'll dodge the chopping block just because you've proven your worth to your peers, higher-ups, or the overall department. Everyone is expendable simply for cash value ever since they became a publicly traded company, your actual contributions are meaningless in the end. Toxic corporate culture infests every corner of this company. They're no better than anywhere else anymore.

Pros

Some of the employees work very hard and want nothing but the betterment of Rivian. A few managers are actually good leaders. Lots of time to contemplate the decisions that led you to this point in your life, and ask yourself where you went wrong. The engineers are great people to work with.

Cons

Most employees don't do their job. The few managers worth keeping are overshadowed by the ones that want everything done their way, and do not care about stepping on someone else's toes. Constant downtime. Most of my 12 hour shifts consisted of 3 - 10 hours of our machines and robots being down every reason under the sun. Management then blames the team members for lack of production. I've never worked for a more disorganized company in my life. Far too many managers and not enough employees that actually care about their job.
