Not worth it

Pros

High pay for no experience Lots of OT means big checks

Cons

-80 hour weeks -management lies and breaks promises constantly -work on holidays including Xmas and NYE -promotions almost entirely based on favoritism and how much of a yes man you're willing to be rather than qualification -management sets unrealistic targets and blames floor workers when they're not met

Pros

new features to a car

Cons

Employees with couple of years lifted heavy weight to build what is currently standing on the vehicles and the company by working around the clock from their house during covid, new people come and complain about the "mess" they find and take all the credit for the work of few. There is a huge sense of pride and some managers are not humble at all and make their ways up in the orgchart by removing human obstacles out of their way.... I guess stock from 170 down to 13 tells the story better than me

Rivian is a joke

Pros

Not many, maybe a cool product.

Cons

Management doesn’t know what they are doing, no vision, everything is ad-hoc, RJ the CEO has no business running the company, he is inexperienced and has no idea how to manufacture vehicles, stick to design, let the adults that know what they are doing run the show. Company is also super woke, worst place I’ve ever worked and they are always figuring out ways to screw the people that built the place. Benefits are a joke, unlimited vacation is a scam and should be illegal for companies to establish as a supposed benefit.
