I am writing for Infra team in DIT , it is a glorified call center , most of the guys in the various Infra team come from L1 team , after working in L1 for some years they are sent to various internal teams , mostly L1 who are loudmouths and uncouth , possess very little knowledge except they know who is who which they come to know from their experience in L1
Top management lacks technical knowledge and is notorious to torture using excel and diagrams and keeping unnecessary points open , employees are rated on basis of how regular are they in saying GM and attending meetings , sending emails etc.
No technical road map , basically they work mostly on low end work which is already done by the Europeans. Top management is loudmouth and they tend to surround themselves with loudmouths with little knowledge.
Most companies follow either waterfall or agile , here no model is followed , do all whatever comes without any planning for resources , resources are burdened like mules and too many emails and phones and very little time for actual work.
