The company is really work life balance friendly allowing flexible working within reason as needed. Once you have proved yourself you'll be well looked after.

Cons

The first year to eighteen months can be tough and you might need some stamina

Pros

The culture is their strongest asset. The people stay to be a part of something big. Lots of CSR activities and if youa re based in one of the major offices you share in the success by having accessibility to the core of the company.

Cons

If you aren't in Newcastle it's not quite as good. If you aren't in one of the larger offices it can be difficult to realise you are even part of Sage. Salaries were not competitive. So many rounds of redundancy - it seemed part of the business strategy was to acquire and then slash (which is quire cut throat compared to the family culture impression from elsewhere)
