Pros

Sage consists of a great group of people. It is very much a team environment and everyone trys to help each other out. We have a pretty good benefits package and management is pretty flexible on work schedules and remote employees.

Cons

There is a lot of bureaucrasy when trying to get things done for a company this size. Our IS group needs some serious help and sometimes it feels like we are very limited in our innovation because we cannot get projects through IS.

Pros

In the Healthcare Division, if you personally network and reach out, the possibility exists to learn more over time. Otherwise your day can feel like a numbers game and I don't mean the kind in your paycheck.

Cons

Stretched way beyond capacity not only your position but continued company realignments & restructuring lead to delays in personal & business communications/actions. Be prepared to pave your own way on a career path outside of the company as promotions & individual recognition is extremely limited, outside of Sales.

Pros

Benefits are good. Employee discounts because of working at a large company - some good, some ok. Overall company seems fair to employees. A lot of corporate information is on an intranet website and most things are easy to find. Time sheets, time off requests, pay records are all on one place for the corporation.

Cons

Sometimes the corporate policy interferes with local needs. Corporate restrictions on purchasing policies and IT make it difficult to get anything done quickly. Sometimes is hard to report to someone in another location. When HR consultations are needed, the employee doesn't have a comfortable known contact as HR is offsite.
