      Great Job, Poor Management

      Pros

      - Good pay (because of the union) - Great industry/trade - Great benefits (because of the union) - Plenty of work/hours, and OT - Company puts safety and PPE before everything

      Cons

      - The pay is only good because of the union - Management team is awful. They don't know elevators and only pretend to care about your safety as a mechanic - Over promise to the customer and expect mechanics to make up for this mistake - Stressful, dangerous job

      Benefits are good. A lot of paid time off, tuition reimbursement, stout 401k match.

      Lack of promoting from within the company. Often management will bring people from the outside who have to lean heavily on current employees rather than just promoting from within.
