Head count driven - departments work in silos (by design) - used to feel like family - now run by Bain consulting (basically). What did Otis Elevator do three years ago? That’s what Schindler will do today.

It is confusing in its strategy sometimes, many things are decided more on “my friends and inner circle “ than on what is better to the company. If something goes wrong and the leader is changed the whole strategy changes together and we go to square zero
