Pros

Good benefits and environment,,,,professional environment (means people will stab you in the back but not be rude to your face- typical Canadian culture). A newbie and very experienced staff are given equal consideration for areas requiring expert opinion which sets a low ceiling for everyone.

Cons

Limited room to grow, mediocre colleagues since many get hired based on neopotism, promotion based on how chummy you are with the manager. Managers themselves have zero functional knowledge - as they are not supposed to be functional experts but rather PEOPLE managers, which is a unique role exclusive only to Canada - babysitting adults and giving them cock-and-bull stories about promotions.
