Pros

Work can be interesting if you make it interesting

Cons

Horrible culture, performance doesn’t matter at all. Senior leaders are basically clueless about their mandates. All they care about is how they look to their own bosses.

Pros

Can experiment with new techniques and methodologies. Pay is competitive, if you negotiate it.

Cons

work life balance is team dependent, some teams have very bad turnover. A person doesn't last more than 1 year in the team I work in. Deadlines are unrealistic, expected to work overtime with no compensation. Legacy systems, very bad documentation, and very little support from IT regarding any internal tools/platforms. All of this is not taken into account with project deadlines from mangers.
