Pros

It is a great place to get started in Capital Markets in Canada. Can get as much responsibility as you want as it is a very flat organization.

Cons

Lack of greater vision or direction - competitors seem to know better what they want and why. Longer hours is the norm in this industry.

Pros

Scotiabank is a great to place to work. Lots of room for development and opportunity.

Cons

Although the Bank supports development, it comes down to your direct manager to approve and support this.
