Pros

They really try to support your development; this is good if you want to grow within the branch and bank in general. Bonuses in December.

Cons

Call nights that are paid but feel pressured to do (outside of shift)

Pros

I really liked working at Scotiabank. I enjoyed the employees I worked with and the variety of work. I worked temporarily in the service department (front line and mid-office) and the sales department as well. I think Scotiabank is a great employer with lots of opportunities to grow.

Cons

I wasn't given a lot of responsibilities during my internship and lack of formal training for my various positions. I was only there for a short period of time and they wanted to expose me to as much of the roles in the bank as possible which was great, but sometimes felt like I needed more training and help.
