Pros

Good pay for a student job. Lenient with time off. Good job experience. Good learning experience. Looks really good on your resume.

Cons

When policies change, you aren't always aware. Few/no pay increases (over a 1 year period) Little recognition for a job well done. Management thinks you're disposable. Management can be unreasonable; they would call me at the last possible minute to ask me to pick up a shift (can you come for a shift in 10 minutes?) and would take advantage if you accept too many times. In addition, in the circumstance that I was unable to answer my calls, for whatever reason, when I would go into work for my next shift, management would get upset and yell...?!! When you are a student, older people/adults can be rude because you are young. No one reprimands these people... Was once told that because I take a non-confrontational approach when it comes to clients, I compared to a co-worker who downright rude to clients...???? VERY STRESSFUL!
