Pros

Very good work life balance. Usually 8~5 working hour. People are nice and easy to get alone with. location is good.

Cons

not good IT system. 3 level bank. The management level people think their target is number 3 in any area (not like other bank wants to be number one!)

Pros

Scotiabank has a great benefits package. The package includes free or discounted financial services, an employee stock ownership plan, and access to a discount site.

Cons

There are a limited number of opportunities for promotions. Promotions are only available if someone leaves. The communication between management and staff is poor.

Pros

Staff are great and the customers make it even better.. There is room for advancement as long as you don't mind waiting

Cons

The salaries are really low based on other banks. Would be nice if you were paid for the courses you have taken.
