Pros

Good environment, appraisal on the job. They tell what works and what should be improved. They also provide you with the tools to perform your job.

Cons

The salary was quite low for the job and competence needed. The training needed some improvement and I was stuck with somebody who lacked experience to train me.

Pros

Large company so the opportunity to move to another group is frequently available. Being an active supporter of charities is a source of pride.

Cons

Certain groups are managed in a very old fashioned manner. Management often equates disagreement with disrespect thus discouraging people from presenting new ideas. Certain groups will also try to stop their staff from applying to other jobs within the organization in order to avoid retraining new staff.
