Pros

Good friendly atmosphere Very dedicated staff; even to a fault Promotes a positive culture (but at the expense of staff morale)

Cons

Staff underpaid within the market and several divisions within BNS underpay even more. If you are not shaking hands with the client and generating profits, you are undervalued and underpaid. Technology will soon replace you! Branch staff on contract of medical leave were all recently laid off. CEO is money hungry. Mr. Porter comes off as trying to set the bank up for long term success but when the majority of his salary is based on share performance, he sets a poor tone. Current staff going through lay offs all pay the price for his salary.
