Pros

good place to learn and grow if you want to dedicate your entire life to that free lunch on fridays only some free snacks and drinks

Cons

i worked here as a software engineer and this place has the worst work life balance. they fire people at the drop of a hat. good engineers and old timers have been let go because their performance was perceived to be not adequate by the management. they constantly expect you to deliver high quality code at an unbelievable pace, under lots of pressure and phenomenal amounts of stress. you might as well kiss your evenings and weekends goodbye when you join this company or else you can kiss your job goodbye. don't expect that if you've been here long enough they will cut you some slack. you are perpetually under the radar. another nasty thing is that they tend to let you go close to the date when your stocks are about to mature. that way you leave the company with nothing. if you are a young single person and programming is what your life is all about then this is a great place for you. if you have a family to take care of or there is more to your life than your day job then don't join this place. this place is a slaughter house where you constantly fear if your head is next on the chopping block. do your health and family a favor and don't work here. that's what matters in the long run.

Pros

An environment that fosters employee ideas and creativity. Overall product is innovative and has a massive potential market. Excellent salary, bonuses, and benefits. Transitioning to better more modern software technologies (Angular, Mongo, etc.).

Cons

Somewhat of a "Good ol' boys" club that exists for people that have been with the company...kind of unavoidable. The overall product is innovative but some of the specific technologies used are archaic... single tenant SaaS architecture is expensive and lagging behind the competition. Dont even get me started with Jelly.

Pros

ServiceNow is in an outstanding position to get its software platform used practically everywhere, dramatically increasing our value. Our founder is still here and is actively contributing to the code base in ways that get thunderous applause in keynotes. Customers are truly jazzed about us. Even if they encounter problems, it is usually a very supporting partnership getting them through those problems. Not antagonistic. They love using our software and keep finding ways to use the platform in other parts of their business once we get a "foot in the door".

Cons

With the recent avalanche of hiring as we grow, it is easy to lose sight of a common goal. An increasing number of locations makes the organization feel disjointed at times, with the impression that everyone isn't always moving in the same direction. No 401k matching...yet!
