Shell used to be a stable employer, with good atmosphere praising for their vision and mission. BUT it's not anymore.

Never ending re-orgs since 2020, lack of alignment on company's vision and mission. The best professionals left or are leaving the company, only the ones that like too much their comfort zone or cannot afford going to the external market remained in the company

1. Good work life balance 2. Good salary as compared to outside market especially for a BA role. 3. Interesting work if you land in good project

1. After layoff in 2024, things are scattered. Work load has shifted to a bit greater side. 2. Earlier Shell felt like the safest place but now job security is a concern here as anytime random layoff is happening after the new CEO Wael Sawan has taken the seat.
