Rather political. Career progression depends quite a lot on your relationship with your boss, rather than your objective performance. Management is inexperienced in leading, motivating and guiding the team.

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. The hierarchy is confusing so if there is a powerplay between your immediate boss and your boss' boss, you dont know who to follow.
