      Lack of leadership; performance measurement process drives employee first behaviors which results in a poor culture/environment to work.

      Pros

      Siemens is a great place to work. It is a huge company, with excelent growth opportunities, specially for young people. The company invests in training and development of its workforces and has consisten human resources policies.

      Cons

      Managerial behavior is very heterogeneous. Failure of a manager in following the company's human resources policies and even abusive behavior are often overlooked. Internal politics are very, very strong.

      Pros

      The facility in which i worked was like a family atmosphere. Everyone knew each other and there was respect between higher management and the regular employees.

      Cons

      The opportunity for advancement was limited since there was a low employee turnover. Some of the supervisors seemed to be in their position due to "promoting incompetence".
