      Great Corporate Culture

      Pros

      Siemens is a great company to work for and has a great corporate culture. However, if you have very high standards or are a really driven person, it is a little frutstrating. Most employees are career employees and very resistant to change.

      Cons

      Most middle management is not skilled to be managers. Their knowledge base is very limited & their leadership skills are undeveloped. Leaders are born, not made.

      Pros

      Very strategic. Commodity market involvement. Worked accross organization to develop my category plan. Travel internationally. Developed Supplier Performance Metrics and development plans. Good health care.

      Cons

      Company very strict. Inequity amongst its different operating divisions. Too German, expect a US employee to do things that may be common in Europe, but unheard of in US.

      Siemens - nice place to work

      Pros

      Work with new products and the latest technologies. I had to move and quit the job, but I would work for Siemens in the future. Nice benefits. They ofer self managed 401k brokerage account. 50% match up to 6% of employee contribution.

      Cons

      I had to do a lot of travelling. Too many management levels.
