      Pros

      pros - interesting products and branches focused on future challenges (lack of energy and water, advanced IT technologies, megatrends etc.), big company with many interesting working opportinuties, lot of international interaction, fair to employees, on manager positions well paid

      Cons

      cons - too big -> slow moving, "socialistic", lack of top management commitment and decision power in reagard to push through and implement new processes/methods/approaches

      Managing myself in the workplace with these great tools i.e. SAP, Workflow Standards, Siemens and Me, EZ-X, EZ-AP, Infolink, Employee Surveys, Siemens Corp Compliance Standards, PCards, Sales Estimates. WOW!

      I have no time to get on the job because of all the standards I need to follow.

      Pros

      Siemens is still a good stamp on your resume if you want to build a career in manufacturing and industrial solutions. It's fairly stable and tends to have pretty conservative financial policies, which helps the company to fight through tough economic times.

      Cons

      The corporate culture is not homogeneous and career prospects vary widely from country to country. In addition, senior management lacks business acumen, with consequences in the way they make decisions and deal with employees. Evaluations are highly subjective and salaries don't reflect actual performance. Plus the decision process is extremely slow and it's hard to make things go forward.
