They do "company re-structuring" very often. They hire a lot of recruiters, customer service representatives and other positions on the begining of the year to do a massive lay-off by the next semester

It doesn't matter how hard you work, in the matters of promotions, you will be ignored and any jobs will be filled by whoever is friends with the person in charge of selection. No experience, knowledge or seniority is taken into account.
