Pros

Amazing benefits start at only 20 hours a week including insurance, 401k and stock purchase plan.

Cons

Heavy workload since the company cut labor by a third. More and more responsibility is shifted to the shift managers, but overall compared to other companies, the reaction to the poor economy has been moderate.

Pros

-Decent pay above the minimum wage -Good discount and shares -Can be a fun and relaxed place to work (depending on the manager) -Can travel and transfer stores

Cons

-High staff turnover, meaning there is always an employee or two being trained, which can be a drain on you if your busy -Lots of strict rules which are inconstisantly enforced

Pros

Great place to work for single parents, college students, and people in between jobs. Starbucks has a great atmosphere with pretty cool benefits to partners. This is one of the few places that a part timer can have health benefits.

Cons

Higher up management doesn't always let store teams know what is going on. There have been a few occasions that customers received information about starbucks from the news before employees were even told.
