Pros

The benefits are great for part time..and discounts for drinks plus a pound of coffee a week.

Cons

they don't promote from within... they hire managers from outside and don't train them how to manage a store.

Pros

Great benefits. Health, life, adoption, tuition, free drinks, free coffee beans (all for part time work). High people interaction. Brand recognition. If you have a great manager the list continues. Good development opportunities. Good schedule if wait long enough. A variety of schedules available. Can simultaneously pursue other career dreams. Recent stock improvements. Tips.

Cons

Some sales pitches you are asked to do that are not fun. They give an illusion of health, but continue to sell lots of really unhealthy things. For example, the promotion of pastries now without high fructose corn syrup (but notice that it doesn't mention drinks (namely frapps and anything with caramel sauce). Can be really busy sometimes depending on the store. If you have a bad manager, expect a bad experience. Hard to get / maintain 40 hrs a week if that's what you need.
