Pros

Obviously, it's a job. You would have to stick it out for a long time time to make it a worthwhile venture.

Cons

Other obvious factors- including the fact that you are in the customer service industry. With people who need their caffine to function.

Pros

great place to start to develop inital mgmt skills, development is totally dependent on the competency/motivation and performance of your DM usually

Cons

very repetitive, hard to be creative or get anything done out of the ordinary. not enough admin time anymore, too much focus on reducing turnover even if it means keeping substandard people

Pros

The best thing about working at Starbucks is the amount of freedom you generally recieve from the management, I had no bad experiences with my managers.

Cons

The workload outwieghs te pay. The amount of responsibility and what the company asks of you doesnt balance out with the pay. It should be atleast a 9/hr job.
