Pros

I'm speaking strictly working as a Barista. (Worked there from 08-09) Great work environment for high school/college students. Great coffee, easy going customers, AWESOME pastries (though you get sick of them pretty quickly). A free bag of coffee a week, good employee discounts

Cons

Hours varied from week to week. The occasional difficult customer

Pros

Starbucks provides a great opportunity to those who may not have much experience with jobs. They give individuals a chance to grow in the business as well as provide great benefits. Management works around school schedules; which is definitely a plus for college students!

Cons

There are no cons to this job that I can think of at the moment. If I absolutely had to come up with one thing, it would be that the pay is low for the amount of work employees perform during a shift.
