- Comments about gossip culture are very true - Aggressive politics even at low levels - Strong technical specialists are promoted to management despite lack of leadership capability, or people skills leading to management by spreadsheet - Lack of opportunities to progress. Lateral moves are encouraged to counter this but in reality other departments want staff with relevant experience therefore this strategy fails - 'Own the way you work' - just branding. Unfortunately presenteeism stills rules the day in most areas. I have been told by several managers that they don't support this and that it is important to be 'visible'.

Boring, repetitive work, too target driven, obsession with figures and abbreviations and acronyms, too much corporate bull, no feeling of being valued or appreciated
