      Pros

      Overall a good company to work for. They promote a healthy work life balance and are flexible with working from home, this is dependent on the role you have. Very talented bunch of people and in the main there is a positive environment.

      Cons

      Salary is not great in the UK, if you want to progress with the firm you should try to work in Zurich. The benefits in Zurich are extremely attractive.

      *Reputation of the company name for your CV *Can find smart people *Good cafeteria in Zurich HQ *The work itself can be interesting

      Cons

      *Male/Swiss oriented culture for promotion, salary determination, bonus and perks *Huge difference on access to benefits depending on direct supervisor's decision *Striking inequality of salary, bonus and promotion opportunities between males and females *Culture of "maintain the status quo" and "no-complaints policy" (I have seen several people get fired for rising concerns or disagreement with the established management)

      Pros

      Swiss Re takes care of their employees. Not only is the cash compensation great compared to market, but they offer other great benefits such as a company 6% 401(k) contribution. Furthermore, performance is recognized with the ability to earn 1.5x your target bonus.

      Cons

      Nepotism from the top, not necessarily the NA side.
