Pros

The work-life balance is quite good. The company over all treats their employees very well with great benefits even at a part time level. If you enjoy working with people and have that approachable personality with a desire to learn about your customers in order to "right-fit" their needs.. you would do fine. If you are a "yes-sir" person who can keep their head down and do what your told by management, you can move up quite easily assuming you perform well in your sales numbers.

Cons

The work environment can change from store to store all depending on management. I had both excellent and the worst. One is a leader, another just a manager...you want a store with a Leader! It's nearly a bait and switch type of sales approach. They advertise a plan to attract potential customers into the store but you better be prepared to sell them on everything above it from Data add on, Insurance add on, Mobile Internet add on, as well as a crazy amount of accessories (way over priced) and also small business activations and mobile pre-paid visa cards. They do enforce the quotas and if you don't perform you will be gone! For me it became so pressured that it got to the point of feeling guilty after a sale just to satisfy the higher ups. Most of the top sales reps that are always used in comparing to your results are cheaters who practice in deceptive sales tactics that the company will always overlook because it means revenue. I think you can however be honest in your sales, offer everything but allow the choice, and still hit your goals and a decent commission.
