Pros

Great pay with bonuses, Great Healthcare, Great pto, amazing covid response. Great if you're a college student, gay, Trans, or a man. Generally a great place to work for people without kids or without a primary care over children.

Cons

If you are a woman with children, especially if you are disadvantaged and must rely on daycare centers, you will be constantly discriminated against and threatened with lower pay for not being able to work specifically on Sunday, despite the adequate coverage and management understanding. I was even threatened to be fired all together. Daycare is not available at centers in my REAL location on Sundays. I have no family in a 17hr drive. It's impossible.

Pros

Used to provide great benefits and a great company

Cons

After the sprint merger: Only CRT matters Very anti-union Very poor management, work life is so bad it caused PTSD Forced to work off the clock to meet quotas Quotas and ever expanding sales goals Compensation is based is an ever far flung goalpost of sales quotas Some employees/contractors are committing fraud to meet quotas and you might have to encounter fallout from that. Image and who you know is more important to your carrer then ability at T-Mobile

Pros

Not stressful; not a high pressure environment Definitely a 9-5 and then you’re done vibe Lots of people with families work here Guarantee raise and bonus every year (if not, you better complain to HR or leave the team) Almost nonexistent chance of getting laid-off or fired Honestly the fact that no one really expects anything of you is what makes working here so great

Cons

Don’t get paid as much as other jobs Lots of people here are extremely petty (though it depends on the team you’re on) Lots of corporate hierarchy boot licking Lots of things move at a glacial pace Almost impossible to get anything IT related done Some people genuinely don’t want to do their jobs or make anything better at the risk of being made obsolete or having to more than the bare minimum You won’t be doing meaningful work
